Stephen spent 12 years working for Microsoft, where he traveled around the United States speaking to tens of thousands of business leaders about Microsoft technology and cybersecurity. He personally received an award from Bill Gates for the work he and his team did to help the American Red Cross with their disaster preparedness. Stephen co-founded and is CEO of USM Technology, a technology consulting company that has helped businesses across the United States grow and protect their organisations from cyber criminals.
Through the Voices for Innovation advocacy group, Stephen has met with political leaders and advocated for well-structured privacy and security regulations. Stephen also volunteers his time with the Cyber Peace Institute in Geneva, Switzerland. Through the Institute, Stephen helps the leaders of global non-profits protect their businesses from cyber criminals.
Stephen is also an Amazon Best Selling Author of Cyber Storm. In the book, Stephen shares with business leaders how they can protect their companies from hackers and cyber criminals.
Stephen was recently invited to sit on a panel with the FBI & Homeland Security to share with business leaders how they can avoid becoming victims of global cyber crime syndicates.
